Football Recap: North Takes a Loss

After soaring to 38 points the game before, North was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They lost 34-8 to the West Boylston/Tahanto Lions. While losing is never fun, the Polar Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Lions are ranked 48th).

North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Boylston/Tahanto, the victory (which was their ninth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Looking ahead, North will be playing at home against Assabet Valley RVT at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Boylston/Tahanto, they are taking a road trip to challenge Blackstone Valley RVT at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
