Softball Recap: Trenton Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Trenton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Sam Rayburn Rebels with a sharp 12-4 victory. Considering the Tigers have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Trenton's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Sam Rayburn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trenton will venture away from home to challenge Ector at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sam Rayburn, they will head out to take on Whitewright at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
