The Taylorsville Warriors will challenge the Salem Hills Skyhawks at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Taylorsville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over Spanish Fork. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Aleya Wegner made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Megan Sterzer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Tianna Hansen was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, while Salem Hills put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Wasatch. The Skyhawks put the hurt on the Wasps with a sharp 10-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Skyhawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
The team relied heavily on Camryn Guest, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmery Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Salem Hills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in 12 consecutive games.
Taylorsville's record now sits at 19-8. As for Salem Hills, their record is now 24-4.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Taylorsville hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.9 home runs per game. However, it's not like Salem Hills struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.5 home runs.
