The home team had come away the winner the last five times Wayne and Beavercreek had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Warriors walked away with a 76-64 win over the Beavers on Friday. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 59-55 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Beavercreek, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne will be home for the holidays to greet Columbus Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Beavercreek, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Harrison at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
