Basketball Recap: Methuen Takes a Loss

Methuen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 55-33 to the Andover Golden Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-34 back in December of 2024.

Methuen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Andover, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Methuen will head out to square off against Dracut at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Andover, they will square off against Billerica Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Billerica Memorial will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Andover surely won't give up without a fight.
