Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carson). They put the hurt on the Concord Spiders with a sharp 16-3 victory on Thursday. With that win, the Cougars brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Carson Kirk was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Corbin Hales was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
