Basketball Recap: Euclid Takes a Loss

Euclid was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 53-20 loss at the hands of the Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Euclid's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, they moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Euclid will wrap up 2025 with a road trip to face off against North at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, they will head out to square off against Aurora at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
