Recap: Sonora Wildcats vs. Summerville Bears        
        
		
            
 The Sonora Wildcats waltzed into their game  on Friday with five straight wins  but they left with six. They strolled past Summerville with  points to spare, taking the game  58-40. This was payback for Sonora, who suffered a  61-47  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Sonora was led to victory by  Jonathan Curran and  Roger Edwards.  Curran  scored 17 points along with five  steals, while  Edwards  went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Edwards has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Noah Wright, who  scored five points along with two  steals.
 Sonora is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Summerville, they have  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost nine of their last 11 games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sonora will  face off against Amador at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Amador will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1099th, while Sonora is ranked 541st). As for Summerville, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Calaveras at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
