Volleyball Recap: St. Henry Gets the Win

The St. Henry Redskins narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Shawnee Indians 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redskins.

Karlee Buschur paced St. Henry's offense, picking up 12 kills. Buschur got some help from Addy Homan and her 30 assists. Buschur also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Olivia Gast, racking up three apiece.

St. Henry's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Shawnee, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.

Coincidentally, St. Henry and Shawnee will both be playing Newark Catholic the next time they take the court. The Redskins will host the Green Wave at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
