Softball Recap: Raymond Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Raymond's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Newport Tigers on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by exactly four runs.

Raymond dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Newport, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Raymond is set to take on their familiar foe Kearsarge at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Newport will face off against rival Conant at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
