Baseball Recap: Clearwater Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Clearwater was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of the Largo Packers by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tornadoes of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Clearwater saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Kauble, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

The loss snapped Clearwater's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-5 record. As for Largo, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

Looking ahead, Clearwater will square off against Zephyrhills at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Largo, they will face off against Countryside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
