Alhambra's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the North Mustangs by a score of 3-1. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Alhambra had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-19.

Alhambra's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Alhambra has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Carl Hayden Community on the 24th. North has also already played their next contest (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
