Football Recap: Lonoke Takes a Loss

Lonoke lost against Jacksonville back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jackrabbits and the Titans were almost perfectly matched up, but the Jackrabbits suffered a 25-24 loss. While the Jackrabbits had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Titans 14-8.

Mason Ball produced another solid performance rushing for 176 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Jacksonville. With that strong performance, Ball is now averaging an impressive 117.5 rushing yards per game.

Lonoke's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jacksonville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Lonoke wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 34-7 win against Wynne on the 12th. As for Jacksonville, they have also already played their next contest, a 28-20 victory against DeWitt on the 12th.
