Hunter Holbrook made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Greenup County's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 9-1 (and 11-14-1 when he doesn't).

Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Greenup County hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. However, it's not like Russell struggles in that department as they've averaged .329. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Greenup County couldn't quite get it done against Russell in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 6-2. Can the Musketeers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
