Softball Recap: Morrilton Comes Up Short

Morrilton managed to slip by Quitman the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Devil Dogs lost 15-5 to the Bulldogs on Monday. The Devil Dogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Morrilton's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12-1. As for Quitman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Morrilton nor Quitman have any future games scheduled.
