Baseball Recap: Newcomerstown Takes a Loss

Newcomerstown dropped their record down to 15-6 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They lost 11-1 to the John Glenn Little Muskies. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Trojans, who until this game were averaging 4.1 runs allowed.

As for John Glenn, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-18. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season.

For John Glenn's part, Trent Milliner looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Milliner has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
