Basketball Game Preview: St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders vs. Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks

The St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders will head out on the road to square off against the Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Croix Lutheran knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Minnehaha Academy likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, St. Croix Lutheran was fully in charge, breezing past Providence Academy 78-42. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Minnehaha Academy posted their biggest victory since March 9th on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 79-59 margin over Holy Family Catholic.

St. Croix Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Minnehaha Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

St. Croix Lutheran came up short against Minnehaha Academy when the teams last played back in March, falling 62-54. Can St. Croix Lutheran avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
