            The Union Area Scotties will square off against the Cambridge Springs Devils on Monday. Union Area will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Union Area is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Thursday. They put the hurt on DuBois Central Catholic with a sharp  8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Scotties, who have now won 18 contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.

 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Olivia Benedict, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Irelyn Fisher, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  run and one  double.
 Meanwhile, Cambridge Springs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-2  win over Berlin Brothersvalley  on Thursday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Devils.
 Union Area's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Cambridge Springs, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
