The De Pere Redbirds will head out on the road to square off against the Pulaski Red Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. De Pere is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
De Pere had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Sheboygan North on Monday. The Redbirds blew past the Golden Raiders 10-0. Considering the Redbirds have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Addison Krutz made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April.
In other pitching news, Reese Falish looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Jaelyn Craig was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Cadence Brennan also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
De Pere was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sheboygan North only posted a batting average of .062.
Meanwhile, Pulaski posted their closest victory since May 11, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Manitowoc Lincoln 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their matchups with the Ships: they've now won four in a row.
Kamrie Dorn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up 15 Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kianna Altendorf, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
De Pere's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Pulaski, their record is now 7-9.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. De Pere has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Pulaski struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
De Pere came out on top in a nail-biter against Pulaski in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redbirds since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
