It was a good run, but West End Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Yeshiva of Virginia by a score of 46-43. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Yeshiva of Virginia apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2016.

West End Christian's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Yeshiva of Virginia, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
