Basketball Recap: Kamren Davis' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Spearfish over Rapid City Christian

Spearfish came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Rapid City Christian Comets, falling 71-45. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-24.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kamren Davis, who on his way to 13 points. Cooper Gibbs was another key player, putting up six points and seven rebounds.

Spearfish's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Rapid City Christian, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.
