Volleyball Game Preview: Wesleyan Wolves vs. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles

The Wesleyan Wolves will face off against the Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Wesleyan came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Mount Paran Christian, falling 3-0. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Wesleyan was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-10, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Mt. Bethel Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since October 8, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to Mount Pisgah Christian.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-14.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 28-19. As for Wesleyan, their loss dropped their record down to 23-11.

Wesleyan couldn't quite get it done against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
