Volleyball Game Preview: Wasco Tigers vs. Shafter Generals + How To Watch

The Wasco Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Shafter Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Wasco managed to slip by Taft the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Wildcats on Thursday.

Wasco was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 28-26, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Shafter had already won 19 in a row and they went ahead and made it 20 on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Thunderbirds with a sharp 3-0 win.

Shafter not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Kennedy between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-17.

Wasco better keep an eye on Macy Ulloa. She was instrumental in Shafter's win, getting 11 digs.

Wasco has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Shafter, their victory bumped their record up to 24-1.

Wasco might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Shafter in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
