Basketball Game Preview: Chapman Panthers vs. Broome Centurions

The Chapman Panthers and the Broome Centurions will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Chapman is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Chapman ended up a good deal behind Blue Ridge and lost 74-55.

Despite the loss, Chapman had strong showings from Colt McAllister, who posted 19 points and five rebounds, and Colby Moon, who had 19 points. The dominant performance gave Moon a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Cade St Charles, who put up five points.

Broome hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They took down Blacksburg 60-44 on Thursday.

Chapman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Broome, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Chapman couldn't quite finish off Broome in their previous meeting back in February and fell 76-74. Can Chapman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
