Recap: Lexington Eagles vs. Rogers Eagles

After a string of five wins, The Lexington Eagles''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt a 42-14 loss at the hands of Rogers. Lexington was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Although Lexington took the loss, they still got scores from Mason Biehle and Owen Rhodus.

Bryce Watson was a one-man wrecking crew for Rogers as he rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 70 receiving yards. Lexington's QB won't forget Jay Stirman anytime soon given Stirman sacked him four times.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Rogers, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Lexington will head out on the road to face off against Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rogers, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Elkhart at 7:30 p.m.
