Softball Recap: Ridgeline Comes Up Short

Ridgeline fell victim to University and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Titans, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ridgeline saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ada Case, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

The loss snapped Ridgeline's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-6 record. As for University, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Ridgeline will square off against Mead at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for University, they will take on Central Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.44 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
