Wausau East's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wausau West Warriors 75-72. This was a revenge game for the Lumberjacks: when they faced off against the Warriors back in January, they had to take a 63-57 loss.

When it comes to explaining why Wausau West lost, don't look at Griffin Lange. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 39 points and 14 boards. Thanks to that strong game, Lange now owns an excellent 46.5% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Kargie Cooper, who went 7-for-14 en route to 12 points.

Wausau East's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Wausau West, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
