Softball Recap: Mount Horeb Vikings vs. Stoughton Vikings
Mount Horeb barely beat Stoughton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Mount Horeb blew past Stoughton 7-1 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but Mount Horeb sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Ellie Larson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Monroe, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Mount Horeb was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stoughton only posted a batting average of .160.
