Softball Game Preview: Tree of Life Christian Trojans vs. Shekinah Christian Flames

The Tree of Life Christian Trojans will venture away from home to take on the Shekinah Christian Flames at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Tree of Life Christian's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.

Tree of Life Christian will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Delaware Christian, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Trojans blew past the Eagles 14-8 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Shekinah Christian came up short against Harvest Prep two weeks ago and fell 19-16.

Shekinah Christian got a massive performance out of Ali Troyer, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Hannah Yutzy, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Tree of Life Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Shekinah Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Tree of Life Christian's way against Shekinah Christian in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Tree of Life Christian made off with a 20-10 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
