Volleyball Recap: Bishop Fenwick Starts Season with Win on the Road

Bishop Fenwick had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Dayton Christian WARRIORS with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11, 25-12.

Morgan Meiring paced Bishop Fenwick's offense, picking up 15 kills. Meiring were helped by Abby Keller and Paige Carmel, who contributed 17 assists each. Finally, Meiring was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Bishop Fenwick will welcome St. Ursula Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dayton Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Arcanum at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
