Chase Reinhart posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Reinhart and Normal West will be playing at home against Dunlap at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will enter the matchup having just beaten Pekin, so the Wildcats will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
