Softball Recap: Roswell Hornets vs. Lanier Longhorns
Roswell got themselves on the board against Lanier on Tuesday, but Lanier never followed suit. They had just enough and edged the Lanier Longhorns out 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.
Roswell has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Lanier, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.
Roswell will head out to take on Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roswell is facing Centennial at the right time seeing as Centennial is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Lanier, they will be playing at home against Chattahoochee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chattahoochee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
