Basketball Game Preview: Uplift Titans vs. Disney II Titans

After both having extra time off, the Uplift Titans and the Disney II Titans will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Uplift's defense has only allowed 22 points per game this season, so Disney II's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Uplift is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Intrinsic just ended the team's six-game winning streak last Friday. They took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Disney II fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They secured a 14-9 W over Roosevelt last Friday.

Disney II's victory ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Uplift, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Uplift strolled past Disney II in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 36-18. The rematch might be a little tougher for Uplift since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
