Basketball Recap: Howland Comes Up Short

Howland lost against West Branch back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Howland Tigers fell 39-32 to the West Branch Warriors.

Howland's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for West Branch, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

Howland and West Branch should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Howland will take on Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday up 189 places (179 vs. 368). Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Howland comes in on four and West Branch on three. Meanwhile, West Branch (ranked 75th) will meet East Tech (ranked 815th) at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
