Basketball Recap: Winston Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

On Friday, the Winston Eagles were able to grind out a solid victory over the Crestmont Christian Prep Warriors, taking the game 44-31. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Crestmont Christian Prep's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Luke Oliver, who posted eight points and nine rebounds, and Colten Riebel, who scored nine points. Riebel continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

Winston pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points over those games. As for Crestmont Christian Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.
