On Tuesday, Upperman faced White County in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Upperman Bees took a 45-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the White County Warriors. The Bees' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead White County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gracie Clark, who went 6 for 8 on her way to 18 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Ava Jones, who posted ten points and eight rebounds.

Upperman's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-4. As for White County, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Upperman will head out on the road to challenge Cumberland County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. White County has already played their next matchup (against Livingston Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
