Basketball Recap: Tallwood's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Green Run, Tallwood was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-35 victory over the Ocean Lakes Dolphins. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Dolphins are ranked 361st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

With the win, Tallwood broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-10. As for Ocean Lakes, their defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-14.

Tallwood will welcome First Colonial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ocean Lakes, they will head out to face off against Grassfield at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
