Volleyball Recap: Monroe Area Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Monroe Area was the 2-0 winner over Bethlehem Christian Academy when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Purple Hurricanes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Saturday. The Purple Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Innocence Arnold paced Monroe Area's offense, picking up ten kills. Arnold got some help from Alyssa Brown and her 21 assists. Finally, Marley Connell kept Monroe Area's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Monroe Area's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Monroe Area didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Apalachee on the 9th. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Brookwood on the 9th.
