All Saints' Academy's defense stepped up to hand Lake Wales a 4-0 shutout last Wednesday. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Highlanders are ranked 268th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Victory Christian Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on Orangewood Christian with a sharp 7-1 win on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Storm who have now won seven games in a row.

Victory Christian Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up five goals over those 12 matches. As for All Saints' Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-3-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Everything went All Saints' Academy's way against Victory Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as All Saints' Academy made off with a 6-2 victory. In that game, All Saints' Academy amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
