Volleyball Recap: Heritage Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Heritage kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 3-1 to the Bayside Bears. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Heritage couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. The final score came out to 26-24, 20-25, 25-21, 26-24.

Heritage lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Eva Vuichald, who had 15 digs and one block. Another player making a difference was Amber Gunter, who had 22 digs and three aces.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage will host Vero Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bayside, they will be playing at home against Titusville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
