Basketball Recap: University City Comes Up Short + How To Watch

University City was the 55-35 winner over Patrick Henry when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Centurions fell 66-54 to the Patriots on Tuesday. The Centurions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why University City lost, don't look at Jeein Kim. Despite the final result, he went 5-for-12 en route to 20 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Roman Murallo, who posted 12 points.

Isaac Weatherred was a one-man wrecking crew For Patrick Henry. as he had 32 points along with six boards and three steals. Those 32 points gave Weatherred a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexander Newlands, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

University City's record is now 1-3. As for Patrick Henry, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, University City and Patrick Henry will both be playing Monte Vista the next time they take the court. The Centurions will head out to face the Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Patriots will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
