Baseball Recap: Berlin/New Lebanon Comes Up Short

Berlin/New Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Germantown Clippers. Even if the Mountain Lions couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Berlin/New Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Germantown, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

Coming up, Berlin/New Lebanon will host Watervliet at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Germantown, they will head out to square off against Webutuck at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
