Volleyball Recap: Loretto Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Loretto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central Wildcats. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Loretto's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Loretto will head out to square off against Mt. Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hatton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
