Volleyball Recap: Tehachapi Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tehachapi lost against Stockdale back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2.

Tehachapi took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-20, 19-25, 25-13, 15-9.

Lilyana Bundt paced Tehachapi's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bundt got some help from Lola Napier and her 20 assists. Finally, Bundt was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Tehachapi now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Stockdale, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Tehachapi is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Shafter at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stockdale, they will take on North in a tournament on Friday.
