Junction City wins going away against South

Recap: Junction City Bluejays vs. South Cougars
The Junction City Bluejays won against the South Cougars last Friday with 66 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Junction City was the clear victor by a 66-41 margin over South. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Junction City also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
South's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Gavin Devoe, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds. Sawyer Walker was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Junction City's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Junction City will take on Hays at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Salina Central on Friday. Salina Central and South are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
