Basketball Recap: Southeast Falls Despite Big Games from Tyler Warner and Blake Robinson

Southeast lost against Parsons back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Southeast Lancers took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parsons Vikings. The Lancers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Southeast's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Blake Robinson, who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds, and Tyler Warner, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 10 points in addition to eight blocks and five boards. Warner is crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Parsons, they pushed their record up to 5-3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Southeast will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. Southeast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.7 points per game this season. As for Parsons, they will take on New Heights Christian Academy in a tournament on Saturday. New Heights Christian Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Parsons surely won't give up without a fight.
