Basketball Game Preview: Bainbridge Bearcats vs. Peach County Trojans

The Bainbridge Bearcats will take on the Peach County Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bainbridge is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Westover just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 57-41 bruising from the Patriots. The matchup marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Peach County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 59-48 to Dougherty. While losing is never fun, Peach County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while Dougherty is ranked 123rd).

Peach County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Bainbridge, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Bainbridge strolled past Peach County in their previous matchup back in November of 2017 by a score of 60-44. Will Bainbridge repeat their success, or does Peach County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
