Football Recap: Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Central was feeling good fresh off their 56-12 takedown of Bray-Doyle last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bronchos were outmatched by the Ryan Cowboys and fell 84-34. The Bronchos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-14.

Noah Torrez had an outrageously good game for Ryan as he rushed for 183 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 53 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Central suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 2-2. As for Ryan, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Central will welcome Thackerville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bronchos will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 64.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ryan, they will venture away from home to square off against Geary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Cowboys' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
