Mountainside had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 24-point drubbing they dealt Westview on Thursday. The Mountainside Mavericks blew past the Westview Wildcats 58-34. The Mavericks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season.

Mountainside is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points over those games. As for Westview, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
