Baseball Recap: Bethel Takes a Loss

Bethel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Kennedy Eagles. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Bethel saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AJ Ricker, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Ricker is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Bethel's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Kennedy, they moved to 5-7 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bethel beat the Eagles by a score of 15-5 on Friday.
